Why Lead Mares

More than theory.

For women in executive or leadership roles, or stepping into one, who want expert teaching, experiential learning, and real community, workshop after workshop.

Expert teaching

A new facilitator with each workshop, from leadership, strategy, and coaching.

Learning by doing

Hands-on time on the ranch, with our horses or at the archery range. No riding, no experience needed.

A real network

Lunch and conversation built into every session, and a circle that grows across the series.

Use it Monday

Walk away with tools you can bring into your leadership the next week.

The Horse + Bow experience

Leadership you feel, not just learn.

At Horse + Bow, we believe leadership isn’t only cognitive. It’s embodied. Our horse work is ground-based, with no riding, and focuses on presence, nonverbal communication, boundaries, trust, and co-regulation.

Exercises with Cuatro, Charlotte, and Panda mirror real leadership dynamics: how you show up, how you connect, and how you lead through energy and alignment. We provide all equipment, a safety briefing, and a supportive setting. All you need is curiosity.

What you’ll gain

  • Steadier emotional regulation under pressure
  • A stronger executive presence in how you speak, stand, and carry yourself
  • Deeper trust-building and relational leadership
  • Self-awareness through embodied, in-the-moment feedback
  • Tools to connect and lead across difference
  • A network of high-performing women who’ve got your back

Questions

Good to know

Do I need horse experience?

No. There’s no riding involved, and every horse activity is ground-based and fully guided. Many of our attendees have never stood next to a horse before.

How long is each workshop?

Formats vary by facilitator, from a half day to a full day. Each listing shows the exact time, and lunch is always included.

Can I attend more than one?

Yes, and many women do. Each workshop stands on its own with a different facilitator and focus, so they build on each other.

Where is Horse + Bow?

On a 50-acre ranch in Marble Falls, TX, about 30 miles from Austin in the Texas Hill Country. Directions are sent with your confirmation.

How will I hear about the next workshop?
